Minecraft: PlayStation 3版（也被稱作Minecraft PS3版）是PlayStation 3平台上的Minecraft，由4J Studios為Mojang開發。[3]Minecraft: PlayStation 3版是Minecraft第一個在日本製造的主機上發布的版本。
Minecraft PlayStation 3版在索尼2013年Gamescom的展覽會上被宣布製作，與PS3版本一同被宣布製作的還有PlayStation 4版本和PlayStation Vita版本。首次官方發布的時間分別是北美的2013年12月17日星期二和歐洲的2013年12月18日星期三。此外，在PlayStation商店上的價格是£12.99 ($19.99, €18.99) 並且幾乎和Xbox 360版的內容如出一轍。[4][5]
PlayStation 3主機已經不再受支援，在最後更新的版本中，其收到了水域更新的內容。索尼原計劃在2021年7月2日關閉PS3商店，但計劃後來擱淺。[6]

在2014年4月16日，索尼宣布Minecraft PS3版的零售碟版本將於2014年5月14日和2014年5月16日分別在歐洲和北美發售。此外，零售碟版本與PlayStation Network的下載版本的內容是一模一樣的。並且，它們的功能和更新升級的時間也都是一樣的。[7][8]

外觀包[編輯 | 編輯原始碼]
4J Studios計劃將外觀包作為一個可下載的內容。每個外觀包都包含了超過40種的外觀去選擇。PlayStation 3版的第一個外觀包節日外觀包在2013年12月17日與Minecraft Playstation 3版被一起發售。
外觀包1於2014年5月27日發布。
戰鬥與野獸外觀包也於2014年5月27日發布。
與PS Vita版的相容[編輯 | 編輯原始碼]
透過索尼的「跨平台遊戲」倡議，PlayStation 3版的擁有者不需要額外付費就可以直接下載PlayStation Vita版。因為PS Vita版是基於PS3版製作的，PS3版的存檔與PS Vita版本的存檔是相容的。
這不適用於PlayStation 4版。
